Happy New Year!!! and all that jazz... Grayceon has been heads down in the rehearsal studio writing our third album. It's pretty much finished, but we are still adding the final touches and vocals to the songs. We are proud to announce that we will be playing some of these new tunes on our first ever EUROPEAN TOUR with friends, JUCIFER, starting at the end of April!!! It thrills us to no end to be able to announce this exciting news. The recording of the new album will commence within a couple weeks of our return from Europe and we will keep you posted on our progress. Checkout our December Pacific Northwest tour dates on our shows page! It's gonna be cold, but we are anxious to play our favorite homes away from home again. In other news, we are writing a new album and it's going to be epic. Please expect less shows from us in the early New Year as we attempt to keep our heads down writing. Grayceon is back from tour and happy to be sleeping in our own beds! Thank you for all of you who made it out to one of our shows! We know a lot of people traveled far distances to see us and your support means the words to us. Special thanks goes out to those cities we had never played before for making our visit so outstanding! Upon our return we realized that we only came back with a couple of handfuls of our 7" split. For those of you who don't know, this was a split with we did with Giant Squid on The End Records and contains one song from each band that has not been released in any other format. In addition to the tracks being rare, there were only 500 made. So, this is basically your last chance to buy one! Only the transparent sand vinyl color is left available and you can get your copy from our shop. We are pleased to announce our US tour dates and cities! Please visit our shows page and check to see if we will be in your area this coming August. Also, we are pleased to announce that we will be doing another split with sister band, Giant Squid, to be released on Translation Loss Records in Summer 2010. More news on that later.

The booking of our US tour is coming along nicely. We are particularly excited to be playing in some areas we have never played in before as well as returning to some cities we have had fabulous shows at before, so its a good mix! We are also extremely anxcious to be playing an awesome local show at Bottom of the Hill with Helms Alee and Trcilops! at the end of this month. Check out show details here.

Grayceon has just joined the roster of Starbird Promotions, who will be booking our upcoming US tour and hopefully many more tours to come! We are super excited to have finally replaced the booker we lost about a year ago and we can't think of more capable hands to be in...

We are currently getting ready for our NW tour and preparing a new piece we hope to play for those shows. Also, we are happy to announce that the booking for a US tour with sister band, Giant Squid, is underway for the month of August! We will make another announcement once the dates are confirmed.

February turned into a much busier month than we had expected! There is a two page spread (with interview) in the February issue of Metal Maniacs, as well as a great review in the February issue of Terrorizer. Check out the press page to hear what they had to say about our new album. Also, Grayceon's own Jackie Perez Gratz made a guest appearance on several songs on Cattle Decapitation's new album 'The Harvest Floor' which was just released on Metal Blade Records. Looking forward, we are happy to announce that Grayceon will be playing some Northwest shows with good pals, Lesbian, this coming April. Check back in a bit for official show information.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We're back and lining up some great shows for the early new year. We are also planning a jaunt up to the Northwest in April, so stay tuned. We will be spinning some tunes from our favorite 3-piece bands from 3-5pm as well as some interview action. Why? Because trios rule! We plan on hibernating the remaining lot of December. Yay for November! Our new album, "This Grand Show," is officially released this coming Tuesday, November 11th. Then we continue on to celebrate at our CD release show at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco on Saturday, November 22nd. Jackie survived her late August swim from Alcatraz coming in 33rd in her age-group, at 61 minutes exactly. So, we guess that means that Grayceon keeps on keepin on! SAVE THE DATE for our upcoming CD release party at Bottom of the Hill, Saturday, November 22nd. This is the weekend *before* Thanksgiving, so mark your calendars! Details on the shows page.

The release date of our new album, "This Grand Show," has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. We will, however, have pre-release copies to sell from our web store and from Vendlus Records' web store as early as September 1st. We would like to announce that our new album, titled "This Grand Show," is officially completed and off to the printers! Expect an official release date soon. If you are press and would like to review the album, please check back in early June and we should have information here on how to get a promo copy. Lorraine Rath, our dear friend and amazing musician in her own right, is designing the CD package and painted the beautiful oil painting for the cover. Our new album is almost finished! We hope to get promo copies off to press in about a month and a half. Also, we are pleased to announce that Zack has received a sponsorship from PoBoy Drums and will be getting a new custom kit from them sometime soon! In other news, we had an amazing mini-tour with Agalloch a couple of weeks ago. We also played with Russian Circles and Red Sparrowes. Russian Circles blew us away and we can't wait to play with them again! Thank you to all who came out to see us. Happy New Year to our friends, family, and supporters!!!

We are pleased to announce that our 7" split with Giant Squid has finally been released on The End Records in a limited edition of colored vinyl. Please see details below.

Grayceon is also honored to have been nominated for Sonic Frontier's Best Underground Album of 2007. Thank you to all who took time out to vote for our album. When the polls closed our album came in second, behind Ulver's 'Shadow's Of The Sun.' Other nominees were Neurosis, Pelican, Wolves In The Throne Room, The Ocean, Jesu, and others. Looking toward the future... Grayceon will be recording and mixing our new album in February/March, which is scheduled to be released by Vendlus Records in August 2008.
